Artist Statement
My artwork has taken on many personalities over the years. I have attempted not to be too influenced by any one artist or style. In my early twenties I learned invaluable information, regarding color, from a wildlife artist on Whidbey Island.
As a child I had story books, from different countries, with wonderful illustrations. My mother
purchased Jerry Uelsmann prints to give as gifts, not knowing what their future value would be. Oops!
I've melded what I've learned, over the years, into my own creations; coming full circle and creating again with the spontaneity that I had as a five year old.
